Winter Splendor Christmas pieces are always special to teddy bear artist, Joanne C. Mitchell and she puts her heart and soul into them. This year's bear is entitled Winter Splendor. Standing 22" inches tall, this bear is created with a provincial influence. The bear of lightest beige mohair, is fully costumed and accessorized in ice blue shimmer velvet, winter whites speckled with the tiniest crystalline effects and elegant trims in metallic silver and opalescence. His hood is removable and will lay neatly around his shoulders if one wishes to appreciate his long curly hair and beard. His gift bag is brimming with gifts that look like they have been chosen from the icy Arctic. Santa himself is created with two different qualities of German mohair; a very long and curly variety which is used for his head in order for the artist to fashion his hair and beard and a shorter variety in the same color for his body and limbs.
