18" Sunday Best (left) is dressed in Victorian finery. She is lovingly hand-created with light beige German mohair,with vanilla ultra-suede paw and foot pads. Her delicate features are needle-sculpted and her deep dark eyes are lead crystal. She is fully jointed with flexible arms adding to her ability to pose. Her dress has been patterned from an authentic Victorian child's dress pattern which has a bodice of tiny machine-sewn tucks. Venice lace and ribbon trim compliment the bodice, sleeves and neckline. The velvet cape in claret wine color is lined in mauve satin with this combination of color being repeated in her velvet hat, ultra suede spats and velvet, fur lined muff. No detail being overlooked, she also has a lace edged petticoat and pantaloons. Sunday's Best is supported on a satin covered stand with decorative trim encircling her feet. Sold. Sorry !!

18" Love Letter (right) Inspired by a famous oil painting, this wonderful teddy bear artist has been created with the innocence of a first crush. It is simply entitled Like the painting, it is presented in old world charm. The "child" is an 18" mohair bear created in two different qualities of mohair. Use of the longest mohair fabric available today enables the fashioning of the delicate lovelocks and curls on the heads of some of her pieces which adds to her human-like appearance. She is fully jointed with flexible arms in order to pose. Dressed in silk taffetas complete with slip and pantaloons, she cradles a bouquet of roses, the symbolic flower of love in one arm. Attached to her other paw is the object of her title. A "love letter" in Victorian fancy is inside the functioning envelope. To remove the message, one simply untwists the cord around the glass heart and the envelope flap is free. The stand is covered in satin with Victorian-type trim. Surely, she is one bear for your beloved.
