Pegg Road: MD 235 to MD 237

Pegg Road is a 2 to 4-lane 2.5 mile long suburban highway serving the western portion of Lexington Park, home of the Patuxent Naval Air Station. As employment and housing in the area increased during the 1980s, so did congestion on the existing roads. Pegg Road was planned to alleviate the congestion, provide access to new housing developments, and provide an alternative means of access to the Naval Air Station.

In addition to the surveying, design and construction inspection of the road, we coordinated with the Maryland State Highway Administration and the U.S. Navy to design the improvements at the intersection of Pegg Road with MD 235, opposite the Air Station's new North Access Road.
