MD 2: A Street to Patuxent Avenue
Solomons Island Riverfront Park

This 0.5-mile long project was a joint effort by the State of Maryland and Calvert County, both to improve MD 2 and promote tourism in Solomons.

Working under separate contracts, but coordinating efforts, we designed the MD 2 improvements to provide a parking lane, new curbs and brick sidewalks; a 130 space parking lot between Patuxent River and MD 2 to serve nearby shops; a timber walkway along the river; and a small park.
