 | Case Administration. Includes serving as coordinator with the field on case reporting and |
| data collection, design of reports, audit for errors/omissions, restoring cases, and searching |
| for specific case data. |
| Notice Processing. The entry of all notices and certifications received from filing parties, the |
| NLRB and the FLRA. Maintain original documents for one and one half years. Earlier filed documents can be retrieved by us from the National Achieves. |
| Freedom of Information Notice Requests. Serves as the control point for all inquires under |
| the FOIA pertaining to notices. |
| Management Reports. Produce numerous reports for both National Office and field management regarding such data as mediator caseload, consolidated cases, trends, annual statistics, work stoppages, significant dispute cases, periodic reports of case intake and disposition and special request reports. |
This office also receives, processes and dispenses more than 50,000 notices of contract expirations required by law to the five regions and ten Directors of Mediation Services, and receives and monitors activity reporting by field mediators on these notices.
