A+dvanced Learning System, is a comprehensive Reading, Writing, Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies curriculum solution for grade levels 1-12, high school remediation and adult literacy. A+LS is an integrated suite of software and represents one of the largest bodies of curriculum for these grade levels operating under a single class and student management system. A+LS products are available for both the Windows and Macintosh platforms. Stand alone, lab pack and network versions are available in single and district site license versions.
A+LS curriculum content features 71 titles, over 2800 lessons and approximately 42,000 exercises. This curriculum system is fully correlated to leading national and state learner objectives, principal adult literacy objectives and major textbooks, and provides for a content, recorded voice and graphics-rich total learning environment for students. The student's path through this environment is designed to present increasingly more complex concepts matching the required grade level mastery standards for each subject.
The A+LS manager is a software-based class and student management system designed for computer-aided instruction. The A+LS manager allows for launching and management of third-party software; the design of individual educational plans (IEPs) for classes and students and superior class/student reporting features. A+LS also allows for all lessons, graphics and tests to be printed for use in the classroom or for homework assignments. This manager is available as an integral element of every A+LS title delivered by AEC, allowing a true building block strategy for schools to acquire a fully managed and completely integrated courseware solution over time.
The A+LS manager also features a full multimedia authoring capability,
providing educators the ability to update, expand and customize A+LS's
curriculum content to meet their needs.
