First, a note of thanks to our parents, Renee and Jim Eden, Richard and Faye Skripak, John and Margaret Stoffer, for all of their love, encouragement and support as we begin our lives together.

The Wedding Party

Renee and James Eden. Renee and Jim live in Vero Beach, Florida with their only "son", Gabie, a 140 pound black lab. Renee is a first grade teacher at Saint Edwards School in Vero, and Jim is lucky enough to be retired-which means lots of golf and walks on the beach, when Gabie decides to take him. Renee and Jim are avid nature travelers, and have an affinity for the coast of Maine and the Caribbean. Renee even tried to book a trip to Antarctica for the millennium-now you know where I (Danielle) get it from.

Richard and Faye Skripak. Richard and Faye also live in Vero Beach, Florida. In a previous life, Richard was the best liked oral surgeon in town and Faye kept the office under complete control as the office manager/finance guru/personnel director. Richard and Faye recently sold the practice and are thoroughly enjoying taking lots of road trips in the new Explorer, playing tons of golf, and figuring out all the gadgets on the super computer!

John (Sr.) and Margaret Stoffer. John and Margaret live on a wonderful piece of property in Barton, OH with their watch dogs, Abby the collie and Taffy, the sheltie. A visit to their house brings the feeling of the most comfortable country cottage. John can build and restore just about anything-his current project is a remodeling of the kitchen. Peg has a knack for all things artistic and crafty-from picking out interesting pieces at craft shows and antique stores, to making and painting all kinds of decorations. John also serves as Best Man in the wedding.

Jocelyn Helein. Jocelyn and her husband Chris Helein (who is serving as a Groomsman) live in Great Falls, Virginia with their fascinating cat Tigger (as them about Tigger). Jocelyn is a speech and language pathologist for a private practice in Reston, Virginia and Chris, at the time of this article, has several interesting job opportunities in the works after a long stint as media relations director of the Washington Redskins. In their spare time, Jocelyn and Chris love vacationing at the beach and taking Tigger for walks in the backyard on his leash (yes, it's true). Jocelyn is a fabulous sister!!!

Kristina Kilman. Kristina and Danielle have known each other since they were two-really! We grew up about 7 houses apart and were together all the time. Needless to say, we got in a little trouble here and there during junior high and high school-and will have tales to tell our grandchildren someday. Kristina and her husband Frank (who couldn't make it) live in Port Orange, Florida with their two daughters, Arlie (2 yrs, 4 months at time of wedding) and Kenzie (9 months at time of wedding). They own a jewelry store together.

Yvette Menconeri. Yvette and Danielle have known each other for seven years and are official dancing buddies-we can make it an entire night without leaving the dance floor! Yvette is also part of the original "women's wine club" (lots of stories) and shares a true sense of adventure like Danielle. Yvette lives in West Hollywood, CA and teaches third grade at a ritzy private school in the area. Yvette has a heart of platinum when it comes to all animals and volunteers at a free clinic for women in Los Angeles.

Amy Miller. Amy and Danielle have know each other since freshman year in college (1987), when we met working at the George Mason University newspaper Broadside together. Amy had a short stint as Danielle's boss, and even had to "chat" with her a time or two. We've been friends ever since and shared tons of good times. Amy lives in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia and is the busiest person around-from business meetings (she's a certified corporate crisis manager) to church events (she's a Deacon at her church), to social callings. Amy will be at the wedding with her long time boyfriend (and our friend too) Stephen Travis.

Diane Pereira. Diane is the older sister Danielle never had. Diane and Danielle were roommates for many years (and shared some wonderful times before Diane decided to advance her career and coast hop-first moving to Newport Beach, California, then to Tampa, Florida and then to Huntington, NY, where she met and married Pedro Pereira. Diane is a public relations director at Computer Associates, Inc. Diane and Pedro find plenty of time to scoot into everyone's favorite city-NYC! For nights out in SOHO and the Village listening to jazz. They just bought a house, so you might find them painting walls and listening to jazz CD's for a while.

Katherine Zabriskie. Katherine (Kate) and Danielle had the pleasure of being "big sister" (Danielle), "little sister" (Kate) in their college sorority-Chi Omega. We hit it off immediately and were perhaps sisters in a previous life-we talk as fast as we walk and have the uncanny ability to carry on at least three conversations at once, especially when we are discussing ways to redevelop the world, our government, etc. Kate and her husband Chris Zabriskie live in Bear, Delaware-in between her job as director of artist relations/promotion at the Franklin Mint and his job as an Air Force pilot.

David Borchardt. David was John's first friend when he moved to Maryland. They have plenty of crazy stories to tell about trips to the beach, fishing, and drinking their occasional beer. David is a firefighter and emergency rescue with Prince Georges County, Maryland. David and his wife Dena Borchardt live in Frederick, Maryland (it's nice to have local friends) with their two daughters, Madeline (2 and a few months) and Rebecca (3 months).

John Cattelan. John C. and John (Stoffer) met at work several years ago at AAHP where they were coworkers. Since then, John and John have had tons of good times-watching football, baseball, golfing, and enjoying an occasional beer. Being Italian, most time John arrives with a wonderful bottle of Chianti, which Danielle looks forward too. John is an avid Patriots and Red Sox fan and works in the D.C. office of the Kidney Foundation. John also has a phenomenal musical talent that he will be sharing at the reception.

Matthew Chiccitt. Matt is soon to be John's brother-in-law, and is engaged to Kelly Stoffer (Reader). The are getting married in July 2000. Matt and Kelly live near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and take full advantage of the city with their busy social lives. Matt is with Lanier Worldwide as a senior sales representative and Kelly is a corporate accounts manager with Newton-Swinston, a large specialty products organization (she gets tons of very cool stuff). Kelly and Matt love warm, beachy places and working out!

Robert Warnick. (Rob). Rob is John's brother-in-law and lives with John's sister Stephanie Warnick (escorting Flower Girl) in Alexandria, OH with their two children, Caitlin (Flower girl) (almost 5) and Thomas (2). Rob is a police officer in Columbus (he has tons of stories) and Stephanie stays ultra busy with Caitlin and Thomas. Stephanie, like her mother, Peg Stoffer, has a knack for all types of crafts-and Caitlin is catching on too!

Lisa Roti. Danielle and Lisa have know each other for six years, and if it hadn't been for Lisa's husband, Todd Roti (who Danielle was friends with in college), they would not have met. Lisa works for the United States Navy, both professionally and as a commissioned Naval Reserve Officer. Todd works for PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Lisa can also sew, bake like crazy and find time to play tennis (both Lisa and Todd are avid players) several times a week. Lisa is also a founding member of the "women's wine club." They live in Fairfax, Virginia with their "daughter" Pepper the cockapoo.

Sonya Shoemaker. Sonya and Danielle were in the same sorority, Chi Omega, at George Mason and have known each other since 1988. There are lots of college memories (including spring breaks and beach weeks) and roommate stories (they lived together for 2 years). Sonya and her husband, Preston Shoemaker, love working out together (aerobics, weightlifting, running) and it shows! Sonya works as a corporate recruiter and Preston manages a division of State Farm. They live with their son Kyle in South Riding, Virginia.

Gretchen Franke. Gretchen and Danielle were also in the same sorority at George Mason and have been "friends through it all." Gretchen and Danielle had a short stint as roommates in college, and have kept in touch even when Gretchen moved to Sedona, Arizona. Glad she's back in D.C., where she loves her job as general manager at The Dupont at the Circle Bed and Breakfast. It's gorgeous! Ask Gretchen about urban kitty! Gretchen lives in Reston, Virginia.
