"Teachers today face a different kind of student than even 10 years ago. In many districts students with limited English proficiency are the majority. Even among language minority students, though, there is tremendous diversity in their abilities, prior schooling and literacy development. Over the past 10 years we have trained more than 5,000 teachers nationwide in effective teaching methods and approaches for educating these students. Realizing that schools are systems, we offer learning programs for administrators and school board members as well."
