WCG Workshop Registration Form
Spring 2001

Important! Please follow the instructions carefully. Otherwise, your application will go to the bottom of the list.

1. Print and fill out this form, a #10 stamped, self-addressed envelope, and a check made out to Washington Calligraphers Guild for the appropriate amount. Two-day workshops cost $100 for WCG members and $125 for non-members; one-day workshops cost $50 for members and $65 for non-members. (Some workshop descriptions note an additional fee for materials supplied by the instructor; please reimburse the instructor during the class.)

2. Put everything in an envelope addressed to: Marta Legeckis, 5513 Lincoln Street, Bethesda, MD 20817. (Telephone registrations are not accepted, but if you have a question, you may call Marta at 301-493-8907.)

3. Mail this on March 2, 2001 or soon after. No registration will be accepted that is postmarked before March 2, 2001!! Registration is assigned in the order received, with preference given to WCG members during the first two weeks of registration. You will be notified if you are in the class or on the waiting list, and you will receive a supply list. If the class is full, your workshop fee will be returned to you (maximum class size is 16).

Cancellations: Refunds will be given only if the class is cancelled by the Guild, or your place is actually filled from our waiting list, or if you find someone to take your place in the workshop. Please give us as much notice as possible. All changes in registration must be handled by Marta Legeckis. If you cannot make the course, you must call Marta at 301-493-8907 at least 24 hours in advance so that she can notify the waitlisted people.

Housing: Hosts and drivers are needed for our out-of-town instructors and are eligible to receive a 20% rebate on class tuition. To volunteer, please contact Chris Tischer at 301-739-5192.

Monitors: The monitor is responsible for introducing the instructor, checking the enrollment, ensuring that coffee supplies and critique forms are available, and enlisting the participants to set the room in order at the close of the session. Please call Debra Brown (703-455-2675) to volunteer.
