Bosley
Avenue and Burke Avenue form a one mile long western bypass around
central Towson, the county seat of Baltimore County, We surveyed
and designed this 6-lane urban arterial in the 1960s. Over the
years, numerous high-rise offices and the County Courts Building
have been constructed along Bosley Avenue, yet it continues to
serve Towson with no substantial changes since the initial design.
In
conjunction with our work on Bosley Avenue, we also planned and
designed Fairmount Avenue from York Road to Joppa road, which
forms a one mile long bypass on the northeast side of Towson.
