Terms and Conditions

Lightspann would like to ensure that your experience is as smooth and enjoyable as possible. With that in mind, please read the following as these terms protect both the client’s and Lightspann’s rights.

Payment Terms

Upon acceptance in writing of final design drawings, choice of glass colors and/or metal patina, etc., a mutually agreed upon delivery schedule, and a final quoted price, we require a non-refundable 50% deposit to begin fabrication. Upon completion of the work and before shipment, the balance (plus pre-paid freight) is due. Once the balance is paid, the work will be shipped.

Freight

Freight charges are F.O.B. Oakland, CA, and vary depending on size, fragility of work, and distance. The choice of carrier is determined by Lightspann unless otherwise specified.

Claims

All merchandise is packed to comply with carrier requirements. Lightspann is not responsible for damage to fixtures which occurs in transit or in storage. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to examine fixtures upon receipt and to file any claims with the carrier.

U.L. Listing

Lightspann is a U.L. listed company, and works with the Underwriters Laboratories on a continuing basis to adapt, design and manufacture fixtures in conformity with national electrical installation codes and U.L. standards.

Hand-Made Glass

Due to the particular characteristics in the art of glass making, pieces blown and/or finished by hand may have air bubbles and variations in color. These qualities are typical of high quality hand finished glass products, and should not be considered as defects in workmanship.
