CONFERENCE INFORMATIONConference sessions will begin at 9:00 a.m. daily and continue until 5:00 p.m. on April 7 and April 8. On April 9, the conference will end by noon. Those individuals arriving on Monday, April 6 are urged to pick up their conference materials between 1:00 - 10:00 p.m. in Grand Ballroom A in the hotels East Tower in order to avoid the congestion expected between 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. on April 7. Registration on April 7 will be moved to the registration desk outside of Grand Ballroom B. This years conference registration fee is $250 per person ($300 after March 27). The fee covers admission to all sessions, conference materials, two luncheons, and the conference reception (including round-trip shuttle transportation) in the Crystal Garden located at Chicagos famous Navy Pier. The number of conference participants will be limited to capacity, and registrations may have to be closed without advance notice. Cancellations received in writing prior to March 27 will receive full refunds after the conference is over, less a $35 processing fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations received after March 27. The conference will permit substitutions in the event a registered participant cannot attend. NEED MORE INFORMATION? Hotel InformationThe Ninth National Labor-Management Conference will take place at the Hyatt Regency Hotel located at 151 East Wacker Drive in downtown Chicago, Illinois. The Hyatts special conference rate is $103.50 (plus tax) single occupancy and $128.50 (plus tax) double occupancy. These special rates may not be available after March 23. For those wishing to extend their stay before or after the conference, the Hyatt has agreed to make these rates available from April 4 through April 12. Reservations can be made by calling the Hyatt toll-free national reservation number at 1-800-233-1234 or by calling the hotel directly at 312-565-1234. Be sure to mention that you are with the National Labor-Management Conference. Participants should be aware that all Hyatt hotels charge an "early checkout" fee to guests who leave earlier than stated during their check-in process. Parking at the Hyatt is currently $26 per day.

ReceptionThe official conference reception will be held in one of Chicagos newest tourist attractions, the Navy Pier. This renovated section of Chicagos waterfront offers a variety of shops and restaurants as well as a spectacular view of the citys skyline. Food and beverages will be served in the beautiful Crystal Garden, a botanical garden with dancing and leaping fountains under a glass dome. For those wishing a break from the crowd, the conference has also rented the adjacent IMAX 3D Theater, where two complimentary showings of "Across the Sea of Time" will be available on a first-come, first-served basis to the first 800 attendees. The reception will take place from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7. Chartered buses will begin leaving the Hyatt at 6:15 p.m. and will continue to depart periodically until 7:45 p.m. Return shuttle service to the Hyatt will run from 7:30 p.m. until the reception ends. Business attire is suggested for the reception which will feature live music, heavy hors doeuvres and an open bar. Conference badges must be worn to gain admission to the Crystal Garden.
Table DisplaysThe conference will make a limited number of tables available for organizations to display products or services related to industrial relations. The display area will be open from 11:00 a.m. on April 7 until the end of the conference. The display fee is $500 for one table or $750 for two tables. Tables will be located in heavily traveled areas and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, determined by receipt of the fee.
