Gary
got his start in radio in 1972. Hes an
accomplished freelance writer with a wicked, albeit
corny sense of humor. Garys efforts have been
published in local and regional newspapers and
magazines, and even by a manufacturer of humorous
greeting cards. Over the years, hes been heard
on Baltimore stations WBJC-FM, WLIF-FM and WFBR-AM,
and on WITH-AM, where he was the popular morning show
host from 1994 through 96. He also sqeezed in a year
with Metro Networks as a radio/television traffic
reporter from 97 to 98. Between 1993 and
1997, Gary produced and hosted The Ronnie Dove
Show and The Sunday Funnies on WITH, and This
is Nat King Cole on Baltimores WWLG-AM in
1998. In addition to A.M. America, Gary is
heard every weekend on WJHU-FM Baltimore, and on
numerous broadcast and cable television commercials
in the Baltimore and Washington markets. Hes
also the voice of the 900-line for The Better
Business Bureau of Greater Maryland, and is the
backup public address announcer at Oriole Park at
Camden Yards. A graduate of Towson University,
Garys taken graduate courses at The University
of Baltimore, and Central Michigan University. A busy
man who doubles as the networks Director of
Affiliate Relations, Gary thinks of himself as
"just your average cornball with a decent set of
pipes."
