How To Become An Affiliate
All programs presented on The Liberty
Works Radio Network are available to radio stations

Frequently Asked Questions
Q - Are stations required to take
all LWRN programs, or can I pick and choose?
A Radio stations have the
choice of taking only the shows that interest them,
or our entire 24-hour, seven-day lineup. Whatever
arrangement works best for you is fine with us.
Q How much do your programs
cost?
A There is no cash outlay for
LWRN programs. Affiliation is by way of an
industry-standard barter arrangement.
Q How are LWRN programs
delivered?
A Via satellite, Satcom C-5,
Transponder 3, 63.6 Mhz.
Q Im not sure my
receiver can pick that up.
A That may not be a problem.
Under certain circumstances, we can provide your
station with a receiver free of charge for the
duration of your affiliation contract.
Q My station provides local
news/talk programming. Why should I affiliate with
LWRN?
A For a zillion reasons.
Whether you take all or some of our programs, you can
be assured of the finest quality news/talk
programming available anywhere, featuring hosts with
a combined 200-plus years in the business! As a
full-time affiliate, you can devote all of your
resources to sales and marketing. Your programming is
on "automatic pilot," leaving you all the
time you never had to SELL, SELL, SELL! If you want
to hang on to some of your present programming, LWRN
can bolster your current lineup. In either case, your
programming overhead will be substantially reduced or
eliminated. LWRN pays the hosts, producers and
technicians, not you. Even the need for local board
operators is reduced or eliminated depending on your
ability to automate. LWRN sends the tones to engage
your spots, liners and i.d.s.
Q My news/talk station
features some of the top national talent available
today. Why in the world should I consider changing to
LWRN?
A As you know, many of the
countrys top talk shows charge a significant
fee for their programs. These fees are going up, and
recent events in the industry threaten
long-established ties between national programs and
affiliate stations. In addition, other programs not
currently charging are sure to jump on the bandwagon.
Then there are the non-economic reasons. Listeners
have more choices today than ever before, and talk
radio is the most popular format on radio. Well
take on the bigger boys head-to-head without
hesitation. Thats how confident we are in the
quality of our programs. Finally, LWRN programs can
expand your client base, as local advertisers unable
to afford rates associated with the long-established
big name shows will turn instead to your station for
marketing opportunities and alternatives.
Q How about me? My station
programs a musical format. Why should I change?
A For all the aforementioned
reasons and then some. You may prefer to carry only
those programs that relate somehow to your current
format, or maybe even split your format, keeping
music in the daytime but going news/talk at nights or
on weekends. The same benefits apply, most
importantly the reallocation of precious resources
from programming to SALES! Or maybe its just
time to quit fighting and join those stations
presenting the most popular and successful format on
radio todaynews/talk.
Q Youre beginning to
interest me. Tell me, will LWRN hosts provide local
liners for my station?
A You bet! All of our hosts,
from recording star Ronnie Dove, to paranormal expert
Don Ecker, to our resident "Annie Oakley"
Zoh Hieronimus (we call her Annie Oakley cause she
shoots from the lip) are more than happy to provide
customized liners for your station whenever you want
them. This makes our shows your shows.
Q Okay, lets say we
affiliate. What if I have a problem? Does everyone
there scatter?
A Absolutely not. Our
Affiliate Relations Department exists for precisely
this reason and is available every business day via
phone, fax or e-mail. Theyll periodically
contact you for a progress report on how were
doing, and see if theres anything that we can
do differently or better for you.
Q Youve convinced me.
How do we proceed?
A Call, fax or e-mail us with
your name, title, station and anticipated programming
needs. First well mail you literature and demo
tapes for your review. About a week to 10-days later,
well call you to address any questions or
concerns, then go from there.
