1900 Census shows James O. Logan and his six children living in Galveslton, in Preinct 4. His occupation is listed as farmer.¹⁹

Since the youngest son Paul was born in Galveston, a reasonable conjecture is that they spent at least four years there. Perhaps they then moved back North after the Hurricane.
