In 1850 Census She is referred to as Rebecca, and is listed as 28 years old, which is not really possible unless she married and had her first child at age 12. Possibility she was lying, that the number was mis-transcribed as 28 instead of 38, or the remote possibility that this is a second wife. That possibility is remote because it would mean that he married a second time to a woman with the same name who was also from Virginia. Not impossible, but certainly unlikely.
