Saad J. Allawi Saad has spent over 13 years in the healthcare industry helping organizations improve performance. He was a Senior Vice President of Nextera Business Performance Solutions and Chairman of William M. Mercer’s healthcare provider practice. He also built and directed APM’s Operations Improvement practice. In addition to healthcare, Saad was Director of Business Development for AI Industries and a senior project manager with McKinsey and Co., where he consulted in telecommunications, paper, light and heavy manufacturing, construction, and the public sector. Saad is widely published on healthcare management and has lectured and run seminars on various aspects of healthcare for ACHE, Aspen publishers, AIC conferences, Healthcare America, Healthcare Advisory Board, and Healthcare Forum. While at William M. Mercer, Saad also launched the “100 Top Hospitals,” a benchmarking study in conjunction with HCIA. Saad received a B.Eng. in mechanical engineering from Liverpool University and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School in operations research and international business.
