| VIKING IRON WORKS Inc. is equipped with open-die hammers (with capacities up to 2,500 lbs.) supported by custom built 2000 lb. mobile forging manipulators.Our six forge furnaces, burning both natural gas and oil, can accommodate bar lengths up to 8 feet.
Forging Capacities run from six ounces to 2000 pounds – depending on part-geometry and material grain-flow requirements. We regularly forge bars, blanks, rings, hubs, spindles, shafts and sleeves and have the facilities to forge special geometries and custom shapes.
Our Fully Equipped Machine Shop has both conventional and CNC machine tools for cutting, rough-machining, hollow boring and grinding.Viking can also provide heat-, annealing- and quenching-treatments.
