The Heavy Duty Machine Tools which we use are designed, built, tooled, and maintained to withstand the damaging effects commonly associated with rough-machining open-die steel forgings. Eccentric diameters, interrupted cuts, inclusions, and scale are your precision machine tools’ worst nightmare, so why compromise your machines’ accuracy and productivity when Viking can rough-machine it for you?
Viking’s Machining Capabilities enable us to rough-machine anything that we forge, generally leaving a 1/4" of material over customer finished size (1/8" per machined surface).
