The DANDY is world renowned for her excellent food and service in a truly elegant atmosphere. The wall-to-wall windows, plush acanthus patterned carpeting, crisp linens, prints of Renoir, Monet and Beraud, and a marble dance floor give the room an Old World look. She is a climate-controlled, all weather restaurant. Cold weather cruises can be especially fun; guests like to gather around the antique wood-burning parlor stove and drink hot alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Our festive New Year's Eve dinner cruise is extremely exciting and our 4th of July cruise is spectacular!

The DANDY pioneered dinner-boat fine dinning on the water and has eighteen years of successful operating experience. She is available for  Breakfast at Midnight™ or the Midnight Sweetheart Cruise™, Breakfast, Lunch, Brunch, Mid-Day, Dinner-Dance or Midnight-Dance cruises for two, a small group or as many as 200. Private charters, group discounts, and gift certificates are available.

The DANDY, nestled in historic beautiful Old Town Alexandria, affords you the convenience of a huge public parking lot adjacent to and with a gate that opens to the DANDY'S docking area. The quaint old fashioned wooden pier with red carpeting and huge flower-filled baskets lining both sides of the walk-way seem to transport you from the hustle-bustle of the city to the quiet exciting waterfront. The long benches along the depth of the pier welcome you to sit and enjoy the river sights before or after your cruise aboard the DANDY.
