I.T.A. offers the full array of spare parts for both telecommunications and/or computing needs. While we have arrangements with most vendors and can probably source new spares in most cases, our unique market niche is with refurbished spares that are "like-new," have been completely bench-tested, and carry a full 90-day warranty on materials and labor, just like newly manufactured spares. Our preferred vendors for these new and refurbished parts carry a significant inventory of equipment parts for many hard-to-find, end-of-product life-cycle items, like the earlier generation UNIX-based telecomp systems. Our vendors carry the array of items for DEC, Burroughs, Hewlett-Packard, Siemens, Unisys, IBM, AT&T, Sperry, ARIX, NEC, and other systems that are being used in significant quantities throughout the world.

- Based on a customer's operational and contractual requirements, I.T.A. will do single-point failure analysis; will model a recommended on-site sparing level for parts based upon the customer's sparing concept (centralized/decentralized) and using MTBFS, MTTRS, time/distance factors, vendor inventory stocking levels, ordering, manufacturing, shipping, and customs clearance delay times. We will price this list of spare parts for the customer to consider at no charge. Our goal is to save you money, not just make a sale. I.T.A. also offers complete subcomponents and complete systems that in many cases are cheaper than purchasing individual parts. Likewise, a complete system can normally can be fully certification tested with a one-year warranty.
- Generally, from an effective order date, l.T.A. can ship new or refurbished spare parts to a customer within two (2) calendar weeks or less.
- Our PRICES ARE AS LOW AS ONE-FOURTH those charged by major vendor suppliers for the same new and reconditioned parts. Our refurbishing process includes complete dismantling of parts, cleaning, replacement of face-plates, repairing as necessary, reskining to like-new appearance and full testing prior to bench-stock storage. Then the item is tested again just prior to shipment.
- If a customer exchanges a failed part that is repairable, I.T.A. will credit or refund an added ten (10) percent discount over normal pricing.
- Our vendors offer a repair maintenance program. If a customer agrees to participate in this program, the customer can return a failed item that is repairable and will be shipped a fully warranted replacement within a week. The advantage of this program is that the customer does not have to wait for a failed item to go through the typical 30-day repair cycle. Also, the customer automatically gets the added discount when the item returned is found repairable.
- I.T.A.'s aggressive repair-and-return program has this unique feature: I.T.A. will provide you a written weekly status update on each part that you have in the repair-and-return cycle. This constant vendor tracking by I.T.A. ensures that your failed part has visibility and has priority in getting repaired. There is none of the normal experiences that customers have when forwarding failed parts for repair and then no one seems to know what is happening, e.g., where is the part, is it repairable, is it being repaired, and when will it be ready to re-ship?
