from Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire in West Wales, Roy
lived in London from 1987 to 1999. He has recently escaped to the
Somerset countryside where he now lives in a 350 year old farmhouse. He
also spends
time in deepest Burgundy, France and travels
extensively on business in the United States, Canada and the far East
where he researched his latest book. A recent visit to
Singapore allowed him to experience at first hand, the
technological developments in this remarkable city. Like a growing number of consultants and 'knowledge workers' Sheppard does much of his creative work at home.
Married on 6th December 1996 to Frankie who he originally met at the top of the BT Tower in London at a parliamentary reception. Roy is very happily married to Frankie (even though she said "my awfully wedded husband" during the wedding ceremony). Frankie is the former managing director of the charity Business Wise which teaches 14-18 year olds who have been expelled from school how to set up and run their own businesses. Roy

When not presenting conferences for
international companies, much of Roy Sheppard's time is
devoted to writing articles for newspapers and magazines.
In January 1998 he published his third book "Your
Personal Survival Guide to the 21st Century".
Much of the text was not typed, but dictated directly
into his PC using the latest voice recognition software
by IBM VoiceType.
