Ethel Merman belts out "The Impossible Dream." Honest. But you'd probably never know it, let alone hear it, if it weren't for The David and Peter Show…with Miriam. Billed as "Broadway…Their Way", the show mixes the unforgettable, the unforgivable and the unfathomable (think: Carnival played on the zither or the Hungarian Oliver!). Culling from more than 7,000 LP's they've been collecting since they were kids, David and Peter play original cast recordings and rarities. Weekly segments include "Stars of Tomorrow" which spotlights high school and college productions; "Hello Hollywood," which are, you guessed it, songs from film; and "International Corner" - not to be confused with International Coffees - which are performances in foreign languages. The best, brightest and bawdiest hits - and misses - from Broadway, musical theater and cabaret make The David and Peter Show "diverse in the extreme." As Peter Goldman explains, Broadway has something for everyone and you don't have to be a Broadway know-it-all to enjoy the show." There's Barbra and Patti, Yul and Gwen, Angela, Audra and Mandy and of course, Liza, Judy and Eartha. The Barry Sisters have never received more airplay! There's also a celebrity interview for every light on Broadway, from Mickey Rooney and Charles Nelson Reilly to Chita Rivera, Betty Garrett and Lucie Arnaz. The cast members of Rent, Titanic, Jekyll & Hyde and When Pigs Fly have also been known to drop by.

THURSDAYS 9 - 11 p.m.
David Presby, Miriam Kouzel-Billington, Peter Goldman
College friends who share a love - make that an obsession - with musical theatre, David, Peter and Miriam were born to do this show. Aside from their popular radio show, they have collaborated on a play entitled 431 of My Closest Friends, which starred Miriam and David, and was directed by Peter and written by all three. Thanks to their show - the only one on L.A. FM radio devoted to musical theatre - that number may be a little low.
